Social Software: Plaxo is out of my life

I finally did it. Kicked Plaxo to the curb. I've experienced some times now, that the contact data I update manually on contacts, gets overwritten by Plaxo data. I've experienced some times now, that contacts I've created on my Mac, which were not in Plaxo, are suddenly gone. I'm not 100% sure the fault is with Plaxo - but then again, Plaxo is the ONLY automated contact/calendar solution I'm running, so I feel pretty confident that it's the problem.
