The problem, can easily be reproduced when a user logs into the 'guest' account, either on purpose or by accident, and when they log back out of the account and back into their normal one, they find that their account has been fully reset with all data wiped and lost - the account is like a brand new one. The home directory still exists under "/Users/username" but is completely empty. via neowin.net Nasty, so beware !

The Mac OS X user interface, once trendsetting, is now a tired motif overdue for overhaul. via betanews.com I completely disagree. I find the OS X user interface consistently simple, while looking great. And it's very functional. Not perfect. But a great experience. Go read for yourself. Although I do find these "my blob is better than your blob" articles a bit tiresome by now. And, I think Joe Wilcox is relatively monosighted.
